"A Distinguished Ministry"

Charity Apostolic is a church where holiness expressed by a distinguished love is the theme. We believe in order to be holy we must first be able to love one another as Jesus (Yahshua) commanded us. John 13:34-35, "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (From New International Version.) We are a loving church distinguishly devoted to the Apostle's teaching, fellowship, communion, and prayer. When you are our guest at Charity Apostolic it will be our goal to show you a distinguished kind of love you have never experienced before. You will feel and experience our distinguished love through the way we worship. Our congregation is a community that welcomes people of all races and nationalities.

Our Distinguished New Birth Experience

We believe through the Scriptures that Jesus Christ  (Yahshua Messiah)  is the head of the body, the church, The Son of God, The Universal King, and this is how Yahweh, the Almighty God, the Everlasting Father, revealed Himself through flesh. We believe that everyone must be born again to enter into the Kingdom of God (John 3:3, 5). The new birth ("being born again") includes a genuine repentance. In order to experience the new birth, one must be baptized in water in the name of the Lord  Jesus Christ (Yahshua Messiah) by immersion, and be baptized with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:1-4, 36-38). We believe once a person is saved they must live a holy and sanctified life in order to see Jesus Christ in peace.

 Our Distinguished Pastor and Wife

Cornelius Bowser and his wife Sister Carol Bowser have been married since July 5, 1986 and have raised seven children. Before Pastor Bowser became a Pastor, he was a member of Greater Apostolic Faith Temple Church under the Leadership of Bishop Charles L. Taylor. He worked diligently in his church as a Junior/Senior High School Sunday School Teacher; he held the office of Vice President of the Youth Department, Assistant Director of the Men's Ministry and Director of the Men's Ministry. Pastor Bowser is a California native. His expertise is with troubled youth which comes from his real-life experiences on the streets of San Diego. He is a former gang member, who joined the West Coast Crips in the early 1970s. His Life-style took a dramatic turn on December 5, 1984 when he decided to turn his life over to the Lord and was baptized in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and was filled with the Holy Ghost. He accepted his call to ministry in 1987, and at the same time accepted the challenge to change the lives of young people caught up in the culture of the streets as he was. Pastor Bowser's life took another dramatic turn on November 5, 1995 when he became the founding Pastor of Charity Apostolic Church.
